Site Investigations & Evaluations
We hold licences to the metering databases in which we use to locate and obtain the correct information which enables us to inform you of all the utilities and meters currently active or inactive on your site.
This allows us to offer fast quotations to customers who want us to remove their services and disconnect meters.
Why Choose Crown Energy
By following all health and safety guidelines, we can ensure that downtime on your site will be kept to a minimum.
Some people often forget about that piping that runs from your boiler to your meter. When we carry out our site investigations, we make sure we check everything. Our engineers are Gas Safe Registered and GIRS certified meaning you will be benefiting from our extensive knowledge and experience of gasworks.
Adhering To Suggested Practice
Every year we will visit your site to check that the pipework is being maintained correctly. Before we start the work, we will draw up a plan of all the pipework on site. This is in accordance with the Institute of Gas Engineering Managers UP/2 standard.
These reviews are necessary to avoid any health and safety incidences. However, they can also help to prevent any expensive unforeseen maintenance on your site by spotting potential problems early. So site investigations are actually good for your business and shouldn’t just be seen as an inspection.
To prevent any further disruption to your site, we will provide you with all the necessary information so your piping is conforming to health and safety regulations. We will also provide you with a copy of our report for your records. Your site will also be tested for gas leaks, isolation regulators, the state of any repairs and the piping. It may be necessary for us to take photographic evidence. All our engineers are Gas Safe Registered and will make the process as simple as possible for you.
