For more information about our gas disconnection services, call our gas experts on 0330 123 2255.

Whether you’re a housing developer, commercial landlord or business owner, our experienced team ensures full compliance with health and safety regulations and project timescales. Plus, you’ll have a dedicated account manager as your single point of contact – keeping things simple and providing consistent, knowledgeable support throughout.

We understand your time is valuable. That’s why we’ve streamlined the process into three easy steps:

  1. Apply – Download our application form, complete it and send it back to us. Our design engineers will review the details and begin creating your disconnection design and quotation.
  2. Review your quote – Once your design and quote are ready, we’ll send them to you. Each quotation comes with an expiry date, so be sure to respond in time.
  3. We get to work – After you accept the quote and make payment (as agreed), we’ll begin your gas disconnection. Your account manager will keep you updated every step of the way.

Gas disconnection FAQs

How quickly can my gas be disconnected?

Our average completion time for disconnecting a gas supply is between 6 to 12 weeks, once payment has been made. This is a rough estimate as there are factors such as traffic management that could affect timescales.

How much will a gas disconnection cost?

There are a number of factors that need to be considered before we can provide an accurate quotation. Once you’ve spoken to your account manager, we’ll collate additional information about the property in question and come back to you with an accurate quote without any hidden costs.

Can my gas supply be reconnected at a later date?

Once the disconnection has been undertaken, it will not be able to be reconnected. If you need a gas supply to your home at a later date, you could either have your gas meter removed and then reinstalled or have a temporary disconnection put in place.

Please note that the gas meter will need to be disconnected before we can get the service disconnected.
